Konoe Hisatsugu (近衛尚嗣)

Hisatsugu KONOE (April 20, 1622 - September 10, 1653) was a Court noble in the early Edo Period. Toshi choja (head of the Fujiwara clan). Juichii Kanpaku (Junior First Rank, the chief adviser to the Emperor) as his official rank. Daigen as his posthumous Buddhist name.

Genealogy
A son of Nobuhiro KONOE. His mother unknown. Yasuhime no kimi (wife of Mitsukuni TOKUGAWA, the lord of the Mito Domain) was his younger sister. Emperor Goyozei was his grandfather. His lawful wife was (Onnaninomiya (literally second daughter)) Imperial princess Akiko, the third princess of Emperor Gomizunoo.
